Comprehensive evaluation, tailored to you.
Services
Legacy Neuropsychology offers comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluation for adults and older adults. Every evaluation is tailored to the person in front of us, the questions they're asking, and the information their care team needs.
Neurocognitive Evaluation
Most of the evaluations we conduct are for adults and older adults who are noticing changes in memory, thinking, or daily functioning, or whose physicians have raised a concern that warrants a closer look. We assess for underlying neurodegenerative disease, mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and other conditions that affect memory, attention, language, and executive function. These evaluations help identify what is driving the changes someone is experiencing and guide decisions about treatment, support, and next steps.
Baseline Cognitive Evaluation
Cognitive health is increasingly part of a longevity and preventative wellness mindset, not just something addressed after a problem appears. We offer baseline cognitive evaluations for adults who want a clear picture of their current cognitive functioning, whether due to family history, personal concern, or as part of a broader wellness and longevity plan. We also work with physicians who refer patients for baseline testing as part of preventative care, so that future changes can be measured against an individual's own starting point rather than population averages alone.
Capacity Evaluation
We conduct evaluations to assess an individual's capacity to make specific decisions, including financial, medical, testamentary or independent living decisions. These evaluations provide clear, objective findings to support patients, families, and the legal or medical professionals involved in capacity-related decisions.
ADHD and Learning-Related Evaluation
We offer evaluation for adults with concerns related to attention and learning, including ADHD and academic or workplace performance concerns. For individuals with more complex neurodevelopmental presentations, including concerns related to autism spectrum disorder, we will refer to colleagues who specializes in comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessment to ensure the most appropriate and thorough evaluation.
Cognitive Training
We offer cognitive training, including memory training for older adults and executive function coaching for younger and middle-aged adults working on attention, organization, and planning skills. Availability for cognitive training is limited, so please inquire about current openings.
