Welcome

At Legacy Neuropsychology, we help adults and older adults make sense of changes in memory, thinking, and behavior, so they and their families can move forward with clarity instead of fear. Whether you're noticing early changes in yourself, supporting a parent or spouse, or seeking answers after an injury, illness, or diagnosis, you deserve more than a checklist and a label.

A comprehensive picture of how your brain is functioning right now.

What is Neuropsychology?

Neuropsychology is the study of how the brain shapes the way we think, remember, focus, problem-solve, and manage our emotions. A neuropsychological evaluation looks closely at all of these areas using standardized tests, conversation, and clinical observation to understand what's going on beneath the surface.

This isn't a quick screening or a guess. The result is a detailed report that can guide diagnosis, treatment planning, and conversations with your care team written in language that makes sense to you, not just to other clinicians.

Why "Legacy"

A legacy isn't just what we leave behind.
It's what we protect and carry forward.

Everyone wants to leave something behind. Maybe it's the way you raised your children, the business you built, the stories only you remember, or simply the assurance that you lived your life with intention. A legacy isn't just what we leave behind. It's also what we protect and carry forward while we're still here.

That's the heart of this practice. The key in our logo represents what guides every evaluation we do: a search for what unlocks understanding, for the patient in front of us and the family standing beside them. Sometimes that means identifying a treatable cause of memory change. Sometimes it means helping a family understand a diagnosis they've been afraid to name. And sometimes it means simply giving someone the words to describe what they've been feeling and couldn't explain.

Your legacy, whatever it looks like to you, deserves to be protected with clarity, dignity, and care. That is why this practice exists, and why it carries this name.

Three commitments to every patient.

What to Expect

Holistic Approach to Care

We know that an evaluation is never just about test scores. It's about a person who may be scared, a family that is worried, and a life that deserves to be understood, not just diagnosed. Every evaluation at Legacy is approached with patience, honesty, and respect for the person in front of us.

Training You Can Trust

Doctoral training at Pepperdine, pre-doctoral specialization at NYU's Rusk Institute, postdoctoral fellowship at the UCLA Longevity Center, and over a decade as voluntary clinical faculty at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine.

Thorough, Research-Based, Forward-Thinking Guidance

Every report we write is built to do more than document a diagnosis. We draw on current, peer-reviewed research to explain what we found, why it matters, and what can realistically be done — so the evaluation becomes a tool for a better quality of life.
